- Verify the access route is clear and understood by the crew
- Check that schedule changes have not created unplanned loading or overlap
- Make sure the field team knows who to contact if conditions change
- Review the day’s weather and heat conditions
- Keep official standards available for the team responsible for scaffold oversight
Why GCs Should Keep it Simple
Good foremen want checklists that support action. If the language is too broad, it will not be used. If it is tied to actual site conditions, the checklist becomes part of field control instead of shelf paperwork.
